Privacy Policy

SnoreTrack helps you track snoring and sleep, and offers an AI coach with suggestions to help you sleep better. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. In plain terms: your night-time audio stays on your device, and there is no account to create.

Processed on your device

• Microphone audio. To detect snoring, SnoreTrack listens while you sleep. This audio is analyzed entirely on your device. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else, and full recordings are not sent off the device. You can review or delete the short clips SnoreTrack keeps for you, and turn monitoring off at any time.
• Your sleep data. Nightly results, notes, and app settings are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes this data.

Health data (Apple Health)

If you allow it, SnoreTrack reads sleep, heart rate, blood oxygen, and related metrics from Apple Health (for example, from your Apple Watch) to enrich your reports. This access is read-only — SnoreTrack does not write data back to Apple Health. Health data is used on your device; only aggregated, non-identifying summaries may be sent to the AI coach as described below. You can revoke this access in the iOS Health settings at any time.

The AI coach

When you ask the coach for analysis or a plan, the app sends a small set of aggregated, non-identifying figures to our backend so an AI model can generate advice. This includes things like your snoring minutes and trends, optional profile details you choose to provide (such as age, sex, or BMI), overnight signals from your watch, and your past plans. It does not include any audio or recordings, and it does not include your name, email, phone number, or contacts.

Requests are associated only with a random identifier generated on your device (used to apply fair-use limits). This is not linked to your Apple ID or any personal account. Processing is carried out through our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) and a third-party large-language-model provider, solely to produce your coaching response. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Subscriptions

Optional premium features are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple. Payments, billing, and renewals are handled by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy policy — SnoreTrack never receives your card or payment details.

What we don't do

• No account or sign-up is required.
• No third-party analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking SDKs.
• We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention & deletion

Your recordings, sleep history, and settings live on your device and are removed when you delete the app. Coaching requests handled by our backend are tied only to the random identifier above and are retained briefly to operate and protect the service (for example, fair-use limits), not to build a profile of you.

Children

SnoreTrack is not directed to children and is intended for adults tracking their own sleep.

Service providers

We rely on Apple (app distribution and subscriptions), Cloudflare (backend infrastructure), and a third-party AI provider (coaching responses). These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
